I have a full thickness rotator cuff repair surgery coming up in 3 weeks, and I'm not even sure how I stumbled upon your videos, but you are a life saver!!!!!! While I have a big fear of this recovery process, I am thankful that your videos have given me a headstart on preparing my mind on what to look forward to. Thank you again so much, and please don't stop putting out your best knowledge out there. They are not only useful, but they are incredibly helpful as well.
I have had 3 rotator cuff surgeries that last one Dec.2023, my Sling came from the Surgeon with a Removable foam pad Under my fore arm. Also your sling Should have a Strap that goes around your waist keeping arm from moving forward or back, and of course another strap Over your shoulder, this will keep arm from moving in your sleep and causing Great Pain... I also Highly recommend sleeping in a Recliner which I'm still doing, this Keeps you from rolling over on shoulder...
When I bought a new couch at 60, I purposely chose one with a double recliner in case of surgical recovery, given my age, and familiar history of surgeries. This was one of the few times I made a major purchase based on practicality, but now that I'm set to have a reverse shoulder replacement in a month, I'm glad I did! So much to plan for! Thanks for this informative video
Hi Lindsey, great videos. I live alone, and so I don't have an extra pair of hands to help with positioning. In preparing for reverse total shoulder surgery, I placed a velour covered body pillow under a fitted flannel bottom sheet on my operative side. The friction of the two fabrics prevented the body pillow from sliding. It has been great support for my arm. Hope this helps. Thanks for all your videos.
I'm having shoulder surgery next week and videos for people living alone or tips they give for single people are great. Like laying out clothes before surgery for a few days because opening a dresser drawer may not be possible. I'm also going to prepare meals ahead of time to make it easier.
Hope you all had successful surgeries and smooth recoveries. I'm now 1 1/2 years post op. No pain, and gaining strength and acceptable ROM. I'm right handed and my surgery was on my right shoulder. Some motions will be a no go for the rest of my life, but I'm inventing some go arounds. Be creative. As a former OR nurse, I was surprised and disappointed by the lack of instruction provided pre-op. Be sure to report it in writing to your surgeon and insurance company. Hopefully, if more patients complain, pre-op instructions will improve.
I used a BREG Kodiak cold wrap (beer cooler thingy) that circulates cold water throughout the wrap, you can change the ice (frozen water bottle - 16 oz) when they thaw out without disturbing the injury site / patient's rest. A LIFE SAVER. 4 years later I am now going in for my other arm and have even loaned it out to friends who had the same surgery and they loved it too. Cold pack therapy reduces the post surgery inflammation and helps get you off the pain meds quicker.
Very helpful. My husband had rotator cuff surgery, and we received no to very little practical help with safe and comfortable ways for him to sleep. We had to figure it out on our own. Your instructions really helped.

This great. I am having a reverse shoulder replacement in 5 months. It is very difficult for me to lie 0n my back. Showing how to rest on your side gives me hope! Thank you
Hi Lindsay; I’m almost 3 weeks out from a reverse shoulder replacement, a partial biceps & triceps tear, and a torn rotator cuff that’s going to be removed. I was having a tough time sleeping your placement of the pillows have helped me I spent 27 years active duty Military and 21 years with Cal Fire Aviation. Thanks for the info I followed your instructions on pillow placement along with pain meds and ice have enabled me to sleep again. Thank You 😎
This was soooo helpful for a fractured humerus and Solmiento brace. I slept so well last night just from using the pillow placements you showed. Thank you!
Your videos are very helpful. As an older widower living alone, obviously I will hear your comments about the 'other person' and wonder, well, what am I going to do! Thanks.
Helpful advice! I took an exercycle and put it up against the bed to keep from rolling out. The handle bars helped me raise up out of bed. Sleeper in a recliner was the worst......very unconfortable and I would wake up 2 to 3 times a night.
I'm having my third shoulder surgery next week! I thankfully figured all this out after the first one but it's helpful for my husband so he understands the pillow situation. 😅
Thank you. It’s a shame that this kind of information is not provided by the surgeon’s office before surgery. I had a right torn rotator cuff repair and biceps tenodesis 3 weeks ago and was only told to wear the sling 24x7 except for hygiene. With same day surgery you don’t get any home care to provide info. Education is lacking in general in our healthcare system. It would have been great to have one OT appt to learn to do everything with my left hand and how to get good sleep. I wish I had found this OT channel info before surgery. It has been difficult to sleep. I don’t have a wedge and I don’t think I could sleep like that in bed with a wedge and all the pillow arranging. I tried sleeping in bed and just couldn’t get comfortable. I have 2 recliners, luckily one has the handle on my left for the foot rest and is very comfortable. But I still have had trouble sleeping every night.
I'm facing surgery on both shoulders, but one at a time, and I'm so worried about doing it because my other arm is just as bad as the one being operated on laprosocpicaly. I can't push myself out of the recliner so ordered the wedge system, but still frightened I'm going to have problems due to the free arm in so much pain at the same time as well as a slipped disc in my lower back and neck. I am looking for alternatives but so far haven't heard any. Every surgeon wants to cut so of course he wants to go ahead, but my pain mgt doc thinks I should think long and hard before doing so.
Agreed, Information provided has been really poor for me too. I’ve literally been watching RUclips videos to get tips and tricks. The OT didn’t even call me after my surgery as promised and I had to chase every day for 4 days until somebody eventually called me and then tried to explain exercises over the phone wasn’t the best experience.
My second RCS coming up soon. I tried picking up my heavy purse in my back floorboard behind my console in my truck. My Dr told me 3 months to heal. It took me a good year. Then I hurt it again. Feels like my RCS arm is shorter than my other one. I’m ordering several different types of arm slings to try on before surgery. The ones they gave me in Dr office was too big. The one they gave me at hospital was too big. I’m short waisted. From my shoulder to waist is shorter than normal. I’m retired now and full time RVing so I don’t have a lazy boy and I’m here to get good ideas to turn my bed into a lazy boy position. My mom gave me a great idea last surgery to put 50% rubbing alcohol and 50% water in double ziplock bags and she made me some soft thin cotton like material covers for the ice packs and that was a life saver. I’ve already had the surgery so I know it’s a bad recovery. Get somebody to be with you for two weeks to wash dishes and cook. I’m making frozen dinners. Door Dash. Can’t think of everything but you really need to try. Good luck to all of you having this surgery. I also recommend finding a movie series to watch on Hulu or Netflix. That will help keep your mind off of the pain. And you can rewind when you fall asleep. Get up as much as possible and do your exercises. Medicate really good first. Put ice on after. Don’t do any physical activity and have a pain break through. And don’t overdo your exercises because you can’t feel the pain on the medicine. I would set my timer to remind me to get up and exercise my shoulder and arm. Buy you a bowel like hospitals have that’s curved and learn to brush your teeth in bed is what I did. You don’t need a toothache to go along with the pain from surgery. Get everything in arms reach. Watch your steps too. I couldn’t see the steps because of my arm sling and busted my tail but thank God I didn’t hurt my shoulder. Good luck. It will get better. Time will fly after the first week. ❤
Thanks for all of this great information. My rotator cuff surgery is in one week. Just had my pre-op meeting. sleeping has been my problem so far and I'll try your suggestions. It is a big adjustment because I am a stomach sleeper. I have to get it down because after I heal from this surgery on my detached right shoulder they will have to repair my torn left shoulder as well. So hard to get comfortable at night. Got to do it!
I’m a side sleeper. I hear you. But you will fall asleep on your back. Maybe not for long periods but you will be able to sleep. Get plenty of pillows. And have a few small pillows to help you get situated. I had to unhook the neck part on my arm sling because it hurt my neck. So I’m looking into a different arm sling for sleeping.
Thank you Lindsay! I am two weeks post rotator and SLAP tear surgery. Your videos on dressing and toileting were amazing! I’ve been in the recliner but am so happy to get back to my bed. This video was so reassuring.
Thank you for this after searching RUclips for hours to find something beneficial! The only thing is how do I get out of bed? Calcified tendonitis which feels like cutting knives every time I move. Took me 20 minutes to get out of my bed this morning and I was at the edge! Would love a video on tips for getting out without pain if possible? Thank you for helping so many people ☺️
Thank you so much for showing this! I have a biceps tenodesis scheduled in early Sept and was concerned about sleeping, as we don't have a recliner. This is very helpful! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
I recently found out I have a massive rotator cuff tear and bicep. I'm on a 6 month waiting list a total shoulder replacement. I have had both knees and my right hip replaced in 2011 and 2012. I haven't had an MRI of my left shoulder yet, but I am pretty sure it needs to be replaced. I went on Amazon and bought a tie dye tube top dress to wear after my tsr. I plan to get a few more to have to wear after surgery to go out. I don't want to mess with sleeves. It will be summer time when I have my tsr and I will be totally ready, thanks to RUclips. Thank you so much.
Your suggestions and helpful advice have made ALL the difference in my rehab. Am beginning week four and feel that I’m ahead of the game by following you. Thanks so much
June 15th I'm scheduled to get a total shoulder replacement. I'm thankful this video came across my suggestions. The doctor will be placing an entire new ball and socket, I think he will be placing a metal plate where I lost so much cartilage. Thank you for this very informative video.
I just had a total Sholder Replacement, I guess if you're 30yrs Old, Have a "Extra Pair of Hand's" , This video is the bomb Diggity!!! However This Government issued POS Sling Digs into My Neck & My injured arm is literally Dangling causing MORE pain & Doesn't work properly PERIOD. Thank You! Very helpful. I had SLAP surgery 5 days ago to fix a torn labrum and some nearby bone spurs. I have been wearing a DonJoy UltraSling® Quadrant shoulder brace and sleeping in a recliner with some small pillows for support. My shoulder is well supported and immobilized in the brace.
I have a bicep tear partial rotator cuff tear and a tear in what starts with a L. I don’t even have a surgery date yet however I believe the Creator gives you what you need before you need it. Thank you so very much for this video
Im two weeks post-op. rotator cuff surgery. Love my My Pillow! It supports my head comfortably and holds its shape to keep pressure off my shoulder. Try it if you haven’t already
This was a very informative video, thank you so much. I am three weeks post surgery and have just been sleeping on my couch sitting up pretty much. I bought a recliner, but I just couldn't get comfortable sleeping on it. The biggest issue I am facing is that I wake up so stiff sleeping on the couch. My biggest worry is that I have damaged my repair, can you tell me what would be the signs if I had damaged the surgical site and repair? I am going to try these tips and see if I can get some sleep in my bed. Thank you again.
It’s unlikely you’ve impacted your surgical repair. If you have excruciating sharp pain at the surgical site then seek attention. Stiffness is very normal with shoulder surgery. I hope you are able to find a comfortable position for sleep soon 🙏🏻
I’m about the same timeframe as you. I’m sorry you had to have this surgery. This is my second time having this shoulder surgically repaired. I prefer to sleep on the surgical shoulder so I am really focusing on staying on my back and on my other shoulder. It seems that I have a bed full of pillows to keep my shoulder in the correct position.
@Kim Puchek thanks. It's definitely been tough but getting easier. I basically have pillows everywhere at this point and have figured out how to sleep on my non surgical side. Once in a while I even take my sling off in bed for some relief. Feel better!
I had the surgery 2 weeks Ago , i did get my sling foam support and all the straps without any idea I did what she suggested, and also I bought a back support pillow this pillow is very helpful ! Thank God i don’t need the foam support but I used pillows under and feel more comfortable now , besides Doctor said I don’t need the foam support , it’s comfortable with pillows now, but the first 2 weeks I sleep not as comfortable, but having a good sling help me a lot 🙏
Really helpful and informative, thanks so much for this very thorough informational. Wish I'd come here months back. Also helpful right now BEFORE I do my Total Shoulder Replacement. i.e. Trouble sleeping (I've been on flat bed). Thanks so much Lindsey.
Humerus fracture surgery for me. I was miserable for so long. Think about sitting up in bed, forward because your arm is throbbing. But you're already exhausted from days on end lack of sleep. It took forever to finally get over that period. I am still in recovery but can sleep on back and roll to non surgical side for brief periods. I am just starting to tolerate briefly rolling on surgical side. It's now three months since my injury
An excellent video. Just had total shoulder replacement surgery 5 days ago. I am on the same track as the video. I use the wedge but see I need an extra pillow for back support. Thanks again.
Im so thankful that i got an adjustable frame. So I can sleep at a 45 degree angle. I problem is with my hand and elbow. They hurt a lot for some reason. Like more noticeable than the shoulder. I had a laterjet procedure so they cut off part of my bone and screwed it to another bone
I'm looking at rotator cuff surgery in a few weeks, and your videos have been fantastic for easing my concerns about how I'm going to negotiate the 4-6 week recovery period. Well done!
I'm about to have shoulder surgery as well (27th), so only a few days to go. Rotator cuff tear, labrum repair, subacromial decompression, and debriding. I've got lots of pillows, a nice bed wedge, and a polar ice machine in the wings. I'm both ready and not ready.
@@russell7445 Looking back, I was actually in pretty good shape at 6 weeks, my range of motion came back quickly, but strength took a bit longer, 3 months or so, to come back. Now I'm looking at having to do my other shoulder if and when I can get it scheduled. Hopefully, my right shoulder will come back as quickly as my left one did. Sucks to get old.....
Thanks so much, You are direct and to the point, and You are Appreciated. I will be having Rotator cup surgery real soon, and this has been very helpful, Thanks a Million!!
If you Do Not have anyone to Help you a Recliner is a Life Saver... You also have to sleep in your sling for 6 weeks, only Removing sling for Showers, at least thats what i had too...
I had a full thickness rotator cuff repair 3 weeks a go. ı found my self wakıng up on my sore side. I have a bit of a pain today and I am not sure if this was the cause of it. I only wish I had come across this video before my surgery so I would have prepared my self properly. My arm is still in a sling and ıt will be in it for another three weeks. Thank you for the information you have given.
I'm 2 weeks out of a total shoulder replacement and wish I was in the type of sling you are wearing in the video. I am stuck sleeping in my recliner, and the sling/brace I have to wear won't allow me to sleep in any other position. 11 months ago, I went through shoulder reconstruction surgery but with no great help. Your video has some great tips for ones in a soft sling, though. Great video!
I slept on the couch too with a travel pillow around my neck and a regular pillow. The support of the couch against my fractured shoulder felt good. I am in a drop sling so I draped my forearm across the top of my thigh for support.
How bad was the pain I have had reverse shoulder replacement but my doctor told me the total shoulder replacement is much more pain an I don't do well with pain meds
Bless you Lindsay, I’ve watched a number of your videos, I’m due for a total reverse replacement surgery and tissue grafts, after 3 years of delays here in the U.K. I’ve lost use of my right arm, hopefully this can be recovered with the surgery, I’m already using this current tutorial and it is a lifesaver… I truly appreciate the way that you explain everything. I’ve been told only yesterday that my procedure has been put back until the end of summer this year, our health system here is in meltdown and having you to fall back on is a true blessing. As a pensioner who served his country for 45 years it’s obscene to be treated like this… God bless you Lindsay ❤️❤️🙏🙏
@@EquipMeOT thank you Dear Lindsay, as a former police medic, I can understand both sides of the problem, it would just be nice to get something done soon 🙏🙏❤️
My total reverse joint shoulder replacement surgery is on 2nd August, I have a hospital bed, so that might help, I also have a leg lifter, so that might help as well. But thanks for the rest of the tips, i have plenty of spare pillows.
Had shoulder rebuilt rotator cuff, labrum and tendon repaired and scapula scraped. For the first couple of nights i slept in a lazy boy recliner with soft pillow under arm. did good except needed help getting up. This video is great.
When I had rotator cuff surgery I found the pillows shifted and moved after I fell asleep. The wedges are also narrow and if I moved after falling asleep I was on the edge. I don't see why a foam setup hasn't been devised that has some stability for sleeping and supporting the shoulder. Medicare does not cover home health care for shoulder surgery. It is very tough if you live alone.
Medicare does cover home healthcare if you live alone. 2x a week. Better than nothing. This is where you need a little help from your friends, and good pre-surgery preparation.
wish i'd seen your video sooner!! i had full thickness complete rotator cuff repair and subacromial decompression on 3/30/23, and i've been miserable trying to sleep!! i can't sleep in my recliner and have had a tough time sleeping in bed!! 😫
I had 5 surgical repairs in 2018 on my left shoulder; including rotator cuff & bicep tendon. A little bit to much excitement with my grandblessings left me w/torn rotator cuffs in both shoulders. I put off surgery. No I'm bone on bone on my left shoulder & need both rotator cuff repair & total replacement. I wish I had not waited, I don't think I'd be in the pain or surgical situation I'm in now. I bought a U shaped pregnancy pillow for this surgery. Sleeping was impossible last time; in the bed or recliner. The bed ladder is definitely something I'm ordering right now. I have a huge issue getting up since it's both shoulders. I did also get an automatic bed frame that raises my head or foot sections. But honestly, that doesn't help.
Thank You for Your RUclips Channel! I had knee replacement left knee March 3rd. This Wednesday I go for complete reverse shoulder replacement on Wednesday the 16th. 4 days before my 68th Birthday.😥😥😥😥
Thank you for the video. Had my fist night after surgery and tried the recline and slept awful! Got maybe two hours of sleep. So uncomfortable on my back. Going to try sleeping on my side in bed tonight.
I’m with you. I have a tear and waiting surgery. The last 3 months of trying to sleep especially on my back is next to impossible. If I get 4 hours sleep a night I consider it a success. I can only sleep well on my left side which is my injured side . It just sucks. And sleeping pills do little

You have NO idea!
@@marcyloughner3872 I wish I were there to help you..!! I know there are community services that can help and check on you..!! God Bless You..!!
I had my shoulder replaced upside down.
Your videos are great! I will be having shoulder surgery at the end of the month and watching your videos is helping me prepare. Thank you so much.
Hi can I ask if yours is fractured x
Thank you for this after searching RUclips for hours to find something beneficial! The only thing is how do I get out of bed? Calcified tendonitis which feels like cutting knives every time I move. Took me 20 minutes to get out of my bed this morning and I was at the edge! Would love a video on tips for getting out without pain if possible? Thank you for helping so many people ☺️
Yes! I will add this to my list! Thank you for watching!
I haven't had an MRI of my left shoulder yet, but I
am pretty sure it needs to be replaced.
How did your TSR surgery go? Hope you doing well😊
Waiting list?
Thanks! This was very helpful as I'm having shoulder replacement surgery in 3 weeks.
Your suggestions and helpful advice have made ALL the difference in my rehab. Am beginning week four and feel that I’m ahead of the game by following you. Thanks so much
Great! I’m so glad to hear that.
June 15th I'm scheduled to get a total shoulder replacement.
I'm thankful this video came across my suggestions.
The doctor will be placing an entire new ball and socket,
I think he will be placing a metal plate where I lost so much cartilage.
So I suppose I'm supposed to have a Nice New Couch, Then jump into a Extra expensive Recliner. It That doesn't WORK well just get on The " Link ' & They'll Set you right Up with a "Wedge, pillows, a Nice Slender Sling. Again with 4 Hand's is so Easy & you'll be Off to a Perfect at Home recovery. Please I can't afford to Live, for Ripping My body Apart to Put clothes on our Back 😩
That sling is very effective for maintaining position!
vicbob53…….how long do you need to wear the sling for? And how is your pain level? I may need the same jury.
I'm a new grad OT and these videos have been very helpful to help me brush up. Thank you so much!!!
You’re welcome! Glad you found it helpful!
Glad I came across this video. I'm a side sleeper and sleep has been very difficult since my RC surgery
Thanks for sharing, I’m 72, live on my own and am going in for rotator cuff surgery after I had a fall. Hopefully I can manage myself.
Thank you for your education to help people with shoulder replaced. I ‘m one of them.
You’re welcome!
Great tips and great explanations that inspire confidence. Thanks so much.
You’re welcome!
Super helpful video! Appreciate the simple, straightforward help. I have multiple fractures at my proximal humerus and sleeping is a challenge.
Glad I could help! Hope you heal up well!
Hello, how are you now?
Thanks for the great information. I am a side sleeper so this was very helpful!
You’re welcome!
So glad I found your videos. They're the best on the topic
Thank you so much for watching!
Very clear instructions.fantastic,thankyou.
This was very helpful I have shoulder surgery coming up the 22 of this month this was very helpful
Wow I feel you . I broke my humerus as well 3 weeks ago. Mine is non surgical. It exhausting trying to sleep. I hope you are healing well.
@@jeansweet2706 hey hey! 14 days post surgery for a Humerus Fracture! This should suckkkk 😂
Hi , do you regret the Surgery ??
@@jeansweet2706Did the ER Dr think it was your rotator cuff because I still have to go see orthopedic and I feel like it's my humerus.
Thank You soo much !!!
🙏💖💖💖
An excellent video. Just had total shoulder replacement surgery 5 days ago. I am on the same track as the video. I use the wedge but see I need an extra pillow for back support. Thanks again.
Thank you and good luck!
Just had elbow surgery very helpful. Thank you!
I am now recovering from a shoulder dislocation, this demonstration video is very helpful.
I’m glad it was helpful! Wising you quick healing!
I'm looking at rotator cuff surgery in a few weeks, and your videos have been fantastic for easing my concerns about how I'm going to negotiate the 4-6 week recovery period. Well done!
Thank you and good luck!
I'm about to have shoulder surgery as well (27th), so only a few days to go. Rotator cuff tear, labrum repair, subacromial decompression, and debriding. I've got lots of pillows, a nice bed wedge, and a polar ice machine in the wings. I'm both ready and not ready.
Good luck with your surgery but I think four to six weeks is a bit optimistic. I'm going on 2 months and just now starting to get full motion.
@@paulparente1158 yes it does suck to get old. 20 years ago I would have just got up and ignored it but not now
Absolutely the best sleep advise
I am so happy that I seen this video I was so worried about how I was sleep I have my surgery on May 21st very nervous thank you for this
Thank you Lindsey, Next week is my shoulder rotator cuff surgery . Very helpful videos.
You’re welcome! Good luck!
How was it ?? Because Im gonna have soon as well
Im Very Scared
Thanks so much, You are direct and to the point, and You are Appreciated. I will be having Rotator cup surgery real soon, and this has been very helpful, Thanks a Million!!

Thank you so much I am about to have a total shoulder replacement surgery and I ran across your video. Very imformative.

You’re a life saver…your videos are the best Ive seen on many subjects…wish you were are one when i had my TKR..Twice….
Thank you!
Where were you when I had my 2 shoulder replacements? lol. Very good presentation.
My rotator cuff surgery is in three weeks (😳). I love your videos so much that I gave the link to one of my physical therapists.
Thank you and best of luck with surgery!
@@EquipMeOT Thank you!
Very helpful. Thank You!
You’re welcome 😊
Thank you for your videos, you are very good explaining everything
You’re welcome!
Thank you just head the surgery about 14 hours ago and this really help
I hope you get yourself in a Recliner and Stay there...
If you Do Not have anyone to Help you a Recliner is a Life Saver... You also have to sleep in your sling for 6 weeks, only Removing sling for Showers, at least thats what i had too...
Very informative video.
Thank you for this video, help me a lot.
Thank you so much . Your videos are so helpful to me at this time
I'm glad they are helpful!
Those recliners aren't bad are they. Actually they can be more comfortable than a bed
This is so helpful, I'm having a Left Open Rotator Cuff Repair Distal Clavicle Resection in 9 days and this is so helpful.
Glad to help! Good luck!
Thank you great info
i slept on a coach for first 2 weeks, found it much more convenient than dozens of pillows
Thank you! Great idea😊
@@galinachernysheva9125 We’re you propped up?
I slept on the couch too with a travel pillow around my neck and a regular pillow. The support of the couch against my fractured shoulder felt good. I am in a drop sling so I draped my forearm across the top of my thigh for support.
Wow, if I knew of this video,,could have saved myself from a bunch of sleepless nights. Thanks!
I had total shoulder replacement a month ago and have found many of your videos very valuable. Thanks!
How bad was the pain I have had reverse shoulder replacement but my doctor told me the total shoulder replacement is much more pain an I don't do well with pain meds
Good Info!
Thanks!
Excellent video!
Thank you for the video
You’re video on getting dressed after surgery saved me a lot of money. Thank you!
You’re welcome!
Thank you, very helpful 👏👏👏
You’re welcome!
good video. thank you for all the recommendations.
You’re welcome!
I’m sorry to hear the health care system isn’t treating you well 😕
@@EquipMeOT thank you Dear Lindsay, as a former police medic, I can understand both sides of the problem, it would just be nice to get something done soon 🙏🙏❤️
My total reverse joint shoulder replacement surgery is on 2nd August, I have a hospital bed, so that might help, I also have a leg lifter, so that might help as well. But thanks for the rest of the tips, i have plenty of spare pillows.
Very informative, thank you 😊
You’re welcome!
Had shoulder rebuilt rotator cuff, labrum and tendon repaired and scapula scraped. For the first couple of nights i slept in a lazy boy recliner with soft pillow under arm. did good except needed help getting up. This video is great.
Thank you!
Thank you for the video. 💖
You’re welcome!
Lindsey- thanks a lot for all the information I needs for my up coming shoulder surgery
Thank you so much for this video! Very helpful!
You’re welcome!
Thank you for this video .i have alot of anxiety over this as i approach my surgery next week..thank you again
You're welcome! Best of luck!
You are wonderful! Thank you!!
You’re welcome! And thank you ☺️
I had 5 surgical repairs in 2018 on my left shoulder; including rotator cuff & bicep tendon.
Thank you for this information.I am having Shoulder replacement on the 13th of June and any help is appreciated...
You’re welcome!
I’m here suffering, this presentation will help me tremendously, thank you ❤
You might also place a pillow underneath the knees to prevent sheer force that can occur as a result of the elevation.
thanks very much!
You’re welcome!
Thank You for Your RUclips Channel! I had knee replacement left knee March 3rd. This Wednesday I go for complete reverse shoulder replacement on Wednesday the 16th. 4 days before my 68th Birthday.😥😥😥😥
You’re welcome! All my best on your upcoming surgery!!
Easy and practical advice… Thanks a lot!
You’re welcome!
Thank you for the video. Had my fist night after surgery and tried the recline and slept awful! Got maybe two hours of sleep. So uncomfortable on my back. Going to try sleeping on my side in bed tonight.
You’re welcome and good luck!
Same with me.
I’m with you. I have a tear and waiting surgery. The last 3 months of trying to sleep especially on my back is next to impossible. If I get 4 hours sleep a night I consider it a success. I can only sleep well on my left side which is my injured side . It just sucks. And sleeping pills do little
Hi, thanks for the infor.I am going in for total right shoulder replacement all the your vedios showed me all sorts of things I over looked or did not think about ( like the lazy boy is for right handed folks!).
Again thanks for info.
I’m so glad I could help!
