Welp, this episode felt slow. It looks like Nagisa connects a bit closer with Sou.

Anyways, the episode took on a more awkward romance angle. Nagisa has a fiance? And what, she chose Sou instead? LOL. But yeah, Nagisa centric episode. I think she really needs to improve that bowling skills of hers though..

At first this episode seemed like a one-off not really connected to everything else, but in the end I guess it was there to try and argue that fate CAN change, that nothing is set in stone. Nagisa's situation is just a microcosm of the bigger picture in that regard. Still it did feel a bit odd to suddenly get an episode entirely devoted to her...well maybe not I dunno. Sweet making next week?

A bit of an odd episode in terms of its focus, but it's not overly surprising that such an episode has happened, given that this is a visual novel adaptation.

It would kinda suck if this entire episode only served the purpose of being a metaphor for fate being able to be changed.

Though obviously not clear at this stage, I really wouldn't be surprised if there was actually a lot of foreshadowing in this episode; at the very least I'm pretty sure the final scene with Yui and Nagisa was foreshadowing, and one of Airi's possible career choices could also be major foreshadowing for later events.

Yeah, this show is one of my favorites of this season.

I love that atmosphere and slow pacing in this anime.

Actually I like the art too, it looks just nice.

Poor Nagisa, I hope she doesn't agree to determine her future.
Another amazing episode, 5/5

That's it primarily: it was about the importance of hope in bringing about change.

And it was about how small events can trigger larger changes: Reito meeting Sou has already changed his fate. Even if he and Nagisa were to sill marry, their marriage would be a very different thing than it would have been had he not seen Nagisa playing that game.

As for the title next week: Andromeda? When Galaxies collide?

It was good and we even got Nagisa's background this time BUT... the problem is this turns out to be one big cliche anime borrowind ideas from other famous works.

But the main thing is they are derailing main story with those sidestories.

And I even didn't like resolution of this episode and the way Nagisa acted when he pat her head, that was very OOC reaction. And it's not like she would be able to step away from her family business so boasting those feelings of hers was bad from Sou-kun. Not to mention her fiance wasn't bad man, quite contrary, he is someone dependable who she could grow to like in time.

If anything Sou-kun should rather encourage her to her wedding saying that they would stay friends no matter what. But... well.

This anime takes inspiration from Hourglass of Summer, KGNE and Steins;Gate but unfortunatelly it mediocre in its trying. I still like those characters and I enjoy watching this but I doubt this will be anything memorable in the end. And that's somehow sad as my hopes were kinda high.

It was an ok ep. I didn't get much story wise but about time I got more Nagisa stuff. I find her the best girl and this ep confirmed it for me. I think Sou did the right thing I find it sad that if a person futures is already set in the stone and they don't got a chance to do anything about it. Not sure what future awaits the Astronomy Club but I hope whatever it does lead them to a happy end.

Probably my favorite episode so far... in fact, it's the only episode that I actually enjoyed. I really enjoyed Nagisa's smugness in this episode... and that Reito guy, lol. It was kinda interesting how he mentioned both he and Nagisa were just birds in a cage, due to their heritage of being born in rich families.

Thanks, person who gave me this on another site a long time ago, lol.

All stories are derivatives. All the animations that you mentioned are derivatives of older works. I could just as easily trace the collective origin to Jane Austin as I could to any animation.

What made this story fun (for a series based on a VN) was that Sou would have encouraged Nagisa if Reito loved Nagisa for being Nagisa. But at the beginning Reito wasn't in that position. He saw his marriage to Nagisa as a responsibility similar to how Nagisa saw the marriage. But because Sou provoked Reito, both Reito and Nagisa were able to see each other as actual people, not obligations (Nagisa confessing that Reito was a good bowler showed this). Which means, if they were to marry, their marriage would be based on love, not from some misguided sense of duty. This is why, at the end, Reito could easily accept that Nagisa had a crush on Sou, because he recognized that Sou was likewise his master.

So far this series has not disappointed. I started it not knowing it was based on a VN, but so far I have been captivated by the animation team. They are making this far better than it should be. I want to see what Andromeda has to do with this story.

I liked this episode, to work the possibilities for the future of the story and the characters, mainly Sou, which gives to get an idea of your future with travels in time

Gave to know better Nagisa also, I believe that all of the astronomy club has something to do with Yui and the temporal journey

I am increasingly curious about the story

And I think this ED really very good, I like the play on words as well as the music ..

So, I just noticed that when Nagisa asked Yui is she can tell her problem, she said no because her former self said it but something happened. So I'm guessing that she want to tell the truth but can't because something may happened again.

Tl;dr Nagisa best girl shines in this episode.

Nagisa episode. She's the typical engaged character. Even so, I appreciate her more than the other characters. She was really good with shooting games. Sou could have just let her finish that. Nagisa was so cute when she cried. Her expression of that was nice.

Pretty uneventful episode.
Bit frustrating that they are trowing in the forced marriage cliche again, i hate it when they do that.
What makes things worse is that neither of them want this marriage and just except what they are being told.
This episode seems to suggest that ones you graduate your happy life is over but it's far from that.
It's not like a arranged marriage will make them both happy and it's questionable if it will last you can't stay together long of neither of you want to be together.
And the rest of your life is a long time especially when your unhappy.

Yeah me too. But I watch it before bed and just soak up the atmosphere. It's a bit of a paradise. My little Astrology Club, with my ridiculously loud Western Buddy, my Childhood best friend and 3 other cool chicks.

That's not to say the show is a 5/5 or a 10 out of 10 for me, because without the rose tinted glasses it can be a bit cliche and poorly put together. It was funny when he said "I've never seen her smile like that before". REALLY? I can't tell because they never actually animated her mouth hahaha.

So I guess we now know why Nagisa is able to control the teachers and the student council people. She's been raised to be the confident negotiator. It would be great if they entered that arranged marriage and ... found that they really liked each other.

Kenny's Girlfriend is a sexy BEAST.

I don't mind the slow pacing, but I really hate when they leave a cliffhanger at episode one, and up until now, it hasn't been revealed about what really happened.

Reito seems like a really nice guy. Sou needs to stop being ignorant there.

Can not say much now this episode, but the fact of deepening the characters that make up the cast is not a bad idea.
Too bad that the TV series is too short for these gimmicks.
Narration usable, who knows if this narrative Nagisa centric, has its own importance in the construction of the plot.
Drawings and animations on the sufficiency.

This was a slow-burn story that really didn't make sense and/or start all that well, but from a review I decided to give it a shot. The story really got good after the first five episodes and I'll give this a solid "8" after 7 episodes. The same old story about trying to correct the past from the future - always with terrible results. You really hope that this will end well, but I'm thinking a very sad ending.
